LIMA — In-person hearings in Allen County Common Pleas Court have been postponed until next week, with telephone scheduling conferences to be held through Tuesday before the court is closed for the remainder of the week for a thorough cleaning, a court employee said Monday morning.
All hearings in the courtroom of Judge Terri Kohlrieser were postponed last week after it was learned Kohlrieser had been exposed to the coronavirus and was undergoing a two-week self-quarantine period.
Cases continued in the courtroom of Judge Jeffrey Reed, but it was determined late Friday to temporarily halt in-person sessions. Reed on Friday also temporarily suspended all live hearings on petitions for civil protection orders, according to an order posted outside the courtrooms at the justice center.
